Sprockets General Information

A Chain sprocket is a profiled wheel with teeth that mesh with a chain.Sprockets are used in all types of industries , either to transmit rotary motion between two shafts where gears are unsuitable.Sprockets & chains assembly are mainly used for power transmission from one shaft to another where slippage is not admissible. There are mainly made of sintered metal , cast iron , carbon steel.They are often an economic , reliable drive system for long running , continous drive applications with maximum absorption of shocks & minimum torque load.

Types Of Sprockets:

Single Strand Sprockets

The series of single strand sprockets are designed for use in mechanical power transmission system.These sprockets are offered by us in diverse specification in accordance with the needs & demands of the clients.
Sizes available : 6 mm - 3" pitch.(OD 2" TO 60")

Double Strand Sprockets

The series of double strand sprockets are offered in different types that are used in various industrial purposes.They are mainly used where torque load is more than normal load.These sprockets are made available as per requirement laid down by our reputed customers.

Triple Strand Sprockets

Plate Type Sprockets

The series of plate type sprockets usually do not have any type of hubs or boss & are mainly used in various automobiles & textiles industry.

Counter Shaft Sprockets

Two Way Type Sprockets

The series of two way type sprockets are usually used where the movement of the shaft is necessary in both the directions.(i.e. clockwise & anti clockwise).they are mainly used in steels & pharmaceutical industry for conveyor tables.
Sizes available : 3/8" - 2" pitch. SINGLE / DOUBLE / TRIPLE STRAND.

Idler Sprockets

The series of idler sprockets are usually bearing fitted sprockets & are mainly used as a chain tensioner when the distance between the two chain drives is more than normal.

Conveyor Sprockets

The series of conveyor sprockets is mainly used in conveyor systems.The main charateristics of these sprockets are that these have no sharp teeth & long gap between the teeth.
